The YouTube Shorts interface places controls and text over the video. A safe-zone guide helps keep essential information away from likely overlays, but it cannot be permanent or pixel-perfect because placement can vary across devices, accounts and app versions.

Which areas need the most care?

- Do not put critical text against the bottom edge.
- Test long titles and multi-line captions.
Why safe zones are approximate
Interface placement is controlled by YouTube, not by the video file. Screen size, language, caption settings and product changes can alter the occupied area. The overlay is a planning aid, not an official specification.

Export the 1080 × 1920 transparent PNG and place it above your artwork in an image or video editor. Remove or hide the guide layer before final export.
