Add Watermark to Video

Adds a local image overlay to a video and re-encodes the picture as MP4 while keeping the audio track. Position, scale, opacity and timing are applied in this browser tab. The video is re-encoded, so the result is not a bit-exact copy of the source.

Accepted formats:
MP4PNGJPGWebP

Upload video

MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV up to 150 MB. Processing stays in this browser.

What does Add Watermark to Video do?

Add Watermark to Video places an image you choose over a local video. Drag the preview, use a corner or center preset, or nudge it with the keyboard controls. Scale, opacity, margin and the start and end time are applied during export. The picture is re-encoded as MP4 and the audio track is kept. Tubelexity does not stamp its own logo onto the file.

How to use Add Watermark to Video

  1. 1Upload a video and a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
  2. 2Choose a position preset or drag the preview. Nudge with the buttons or X and Y fields.
  3. 3Set scale, opacity, margin and the start and end time.
  4. 4Export the MP4 and download it. Cancel stops the local job.

Supported inputs and outputs

Inputs

Local video, PNG, JPG or WebP watermark image

Outputs

MP4 with the image overlay and the original audio

Practical uses

  • Placing a logo on a local edit
  • Marking a review copy with your own image
  • Showing a watermark only during part of a clip

Browser and media limitations

  • The picture is re-encoded, so the file is not a bit-exact copy of the source.
  • Audio is kept as AAC when a track is present.
  • Very large videos can run out of browser memory.
  • The media engine downloads the first time you export.

How local processing works

Your media is processed in this browser tab, not uploaded to a processing server. The media engine downloads on first export. Page navigation and analytics still use network requests. Download the result before closing the tab.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tubelexity add its own watermark?

No. The overlay is the image you upload. The page does not stamp a Tubelexity logo.

Is the video uploaded?

No. The video and the watermark image stay in this browser tab.

Can I keep the original audio?

Yes. The export maps the first audio track when the file has one.

Why is the file re-encoded?

An image overlay has to be drawn into the picture. The result is H.264 video, not a copy of the original frames.
