What does Image Metadata Viewer do?
Tubelexity is a local image metadata viewer that separates ordinary file properties from embedded metadata and groups readable fields into camera, lens, date, location, image detail, software, copyright and other sections. It also provides an expandable raw view and flags GPS without contacting an external map.
How to use Image Metadata Viewer
- 1Choose a JPEG, PNG, WebP or supported HEIC image.
- 2Review dimensions, ratio, megapixels, transparency, orientation and file size.
- 3Open grouped metadata sections or Advanced raw metadata.
- 4Copy the report, export TXT or JSON, or open the metadata remover.

Browser and media limitations
- Not every maker-note or proprietary tag has a friendly label.
- HEIC metadata layouts vary and may expose only container-level detection.
- Malformed fields are skipped with warnings.
- Transparency detection samples decoded pixels and may not represent every frame of an animated image.
- No coordinates are resolved to an address or map.
How local processing works
Image bytes are inspected and processed with lightweight browser APIs in this tab. These tools do not load FFmpeg and do not upload the image or metadata.

What metadata can Tubelexity display?
It detects common EXIF camera, lens, date, orientation, resolution and GPS tags plus detectable XMP, IPTC, PNG and WebP metadata.
Will opening an image reveal its GPS to a map provider?
No. Coordinates are never sent to a mapping service.
Why does my image show no metadata?
The source may have been stripped already, or it may use a proprietary or unsupported container.
Can I export the metadata?
Yes. Copy it or download a TXT or structured JSON report.
Does inspection modify the file?
No. The viewer is read-only and keeps the original bytes unchanged.
