Does cropping flatten the animation?
No. The crop is applied to decoded animation frames and the generated GIF's frame count is checked before download.
Can I crop with the keyboard?
Yes. Use the labeled numeric coordinates and dimensions, or move the focused crop rectangle with arrow keys.
Is the crop lossless?
No. The remaining frames are re-encoded with a generated palette, which can change colors and file size.
Will the GIF still loop?
The original detected loop setting is passed to export and checked in the generated GIF. A missing loop extension is treated as play once.
