Freeze Frame Video Maker

Holds one frame of a local video for a chosen duration and exports MP4. An inserted hold can add silence so later picture and sound stay aligned, or keep the soundtrack moving and replace that stretch of motion. Timing is stated before export. Processing stays in this browser.

Accepted formats:
MP4MOVWebM

Silence inserts quiet of the same length, so the file grows and later picture and sound stay aligned. Continue keeps the original soundtrack clock. At the start or a timestamp, the held frame replaces that much motion and the video then jumps ahead. At the end, Continue extends the picture after the soundtrack finishes.

Upload video

MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV up to 150 MB.

What does Freeze Frame Video Maker do?

Freeze Frame holds one picture for a duration you choose, from 0.1 to 30 seconds. Insert holds a frame at a timestamp. Beginning and ending hold the first or last frame. Silence inserts quiet of the same length, so later picture and sound stay aligned and the file grows by the hold. Continue keeps the original soundtrack clock. At the start or at a timestamp, the held frame replaces that much motion and the video then jumps ahead, so the file stays the original length. At the end, Continue extends the picture after the soundtrack has finished. The page states the video and audio lengths before export.

Supported inputs and outputs

Inputs

One local video

Outputs

MP4 with the hold and the soundtrack behavior you selected

Practical uses

  • Holding a reaction frame while the sound continues
  • Inserting a still beat with matching silence
  • Freezing the last frame as a tail

Browser and media limitations

  • Continue at a timestamp does not stretch the soundtrack. The picture jumps ahead after the hold.
  • Silence makes the file longer by the hold. Continue at the end leaves the extra picture silent.
  • The held frame is cloned. Motion during the hold is not invented.
  • A video with no audio track exports picture only. The picture is re-encoded.

How local processing works

Your media is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Tubelexity for processing. The media engine downloads on first export. Page navigation and analytics still use network requests.

Frequently asked questions

Does the audio keep playing during the hold?

Only in Continue mode. Silence inserts quiet equal to the hold so later sync stays intact. Continue at the end does not invent audio after the original soundtrack.

Why can Continue keep the same duration?

The held frame replaces the following motion. After the hold, playback jumps forward by the hold length instead of pushing the rest of the video later.

Which frame is held?

Insert uses your timestamp. Beginning uses the first frame. Ending clones the last frame.

Is the video uploaded?

No. The hold is rendered in this browser. The media engine downloads on first export.
