Video Collage Maker

Combines two to four local videos into one split-screen or grid MP4. Each clip is scaled into the layout, so the inputs are re-encoded. Duration follows the shortest or longest clip only when you choose it, and a shorter clip is not looped unless you ask. Processing stays in this browser.

Accepted formats:
MP4MOVWebM

Each clip is scaled into its cell and re-encoded at 30 fps. Contain keeps the whole picture. Cover fills the cell and crops. A shorter clip is not looped unless you ask. Longest mode pads the rest of that cell with the background color.

Add videos

Two to four local videos. The layout chooses how many are used.

What does Video Collage Maker do?

Video Collage combines two, three or four local videos into one frame. Side by side, stacked, a 2×2 grid, a main clip with a sidebar, and a main clip with two smaller clips are the layouts. Each clip is scaled to its cell. Contain keeps the whole picture and pads with the background color. Cover fills the cell and crops. Clips of different lengths are not looped unless you tick loop on that clip. Shortest trims every clip to the shortest duration. Longest holds a shorter clip on the background color after it ends. The result is re-encoded at 30 fps.

How to use Video Collage Maker

    1. 1Add the videos and choose a layout that matches the count.
    2. 2Set the gap, background color, and contain or cover.
    3. 3Choose which clips stay audible, and loop a clip only if you want it repeated.
    4. 4Export the MP4. Cancel stops the local job.

    Supported inputs and outputs

    Inputs

Two, three or four local videos, depending on the layout

    Outputs

One MP4 using the soundtracks you leave unmuted

    Practical uses

    • A two-person split screen
    • A reaction layout with a main clip and a sidebar
    • A four-view grid of local recordings

    Browser and media limitations

    • Inputs are scaled and re-encoded. This does not copy the original streams.
    • A shorter clip is not looped unless you enable loop for that clip.
    • Cover crops each cell. Contain pads with the background color.
    • Clips start together. This tool does not slip one clip later than another.

    How local processing works

Your media is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Tubelexity for processing. The media engine downloads on first export. Page navigation and analytics still use network requests.

    Frequently asked questions

What happens when the clips have different lengths?

Shortest ends with the shortest clip. Longest keeps the longest clip and pads a shorter one with the background color unless you enable loop for that clip.

    Which audio is used?

Each clip has its own soundtrack switch. One audible clip is used alone. Several audible clips are mixed. None means a silent MP4.

Will a portrait clip be stretched?

No. Contain pads the cell. Cover crops it. Neither mode stretches the picture to a different aspect.

    Are the videos uploaded?

No. The collage is built in this browser. The media engine downloads on first export.
